Gujarat :

• In adherence to the notification, to support the revised VAT rate of 24% on petrol and diesel, the following VAT/Tax classifications are provided, effective from 5th Jan 2016:
  • Input VAT @ 24%/Purchases @ 24%

Note: Currently, the values of transactions recorded using the aforesaid classifications will be captured in the VAT Computation report. In the forthcoming product release, the functionality will be enhanced to capture the values of entries recorded, in the relevant VAT Forms.

Maharashtra :

• In adherence to the notification, to support the revised VAT rates of 1.2%,60%, and 35%, the following VAT/Tax classifications are provided, effective from 1st Oct 2015:
  • CST @ 1.2%/Interstate Sales @ 1.2%
  • Input VAT @ 1.2%/Purchases @ 1.2%
  • Interstate Purchases @ 1.2%
  • Output VAT @ 1.2%/Sales @ 1.2%
  • Input VAT @ 60%/Purchases @ 60%
  • Output VAT @ 60%/Sales @ 60%
  • Input VAT @ 35%/Purchases @ 35%
  • Output VAT @ 35%/Sales @ 35%
