    The current period displayed in my file is 01/04/2013 to 31/03/2014. I need to enter a voucher in 24/09/2010, but still i am receiving the error “date above current period”. What could possibly cause such error. Kindly help.

    Dear Ravi,

    Open your company
    Come to Gate way of Tally > Press Alt + F2 > Change your period 01/04/2010 to 31/03/2011 and then save it.
    And now you try to pass entry on 24/09/2010 it will accept

    i have create new company with same name for next year at the time copy & paste by previous company unfortunately i changed old company financial year so now its not open when i try to open it showing error ” Company Data details changed Need to rewrite before proceeding ” please help me to open the company

    I am usto tally 9 multi My financial year starts from 1/3/13 to 28/2/14. Sir I want Start From 1/4/14 to 31/3/15. But voucher no not start 1.

    company date details changed need to rewrite before proceeding

    i have to change the period of company i know that using Alt f2 is using in this condition but unfortunately i have press Alt+f3 alter and change the date of company period now it is displaying the error

    Every time I open tally the accounting period changes to 2013-14 and the date is changed to 31/3/14. How to make it fix. I have tried changing default company to ‘no’ but it did not help me. Please help me

    Sir,
    I am trying to change date in tally 7 but i cant do it. I am using F2 button to change date and after changing date i pressed Enter key but it doesnt work. It doesnot accept enter key and it doesnt goes to next step.

    Dear Team,
    I am new for Tally9erp. When I create a new company, by mistake I enter Financial period 01Apr-2015 and in 3rd column Financial year entered 14-15. Now when i entered any thing in voucher a prompt appear “Current Date is below 01-04-2015” . Please tell me how I modify this problem in master file.

    Dear Team,
    I change the my current accounting period showing as 01-11-2013 To 31-10-2014 and i press Alt + F2 at the gateway of tally and change this accounting period as 01-01-2014 To 31-12-2014….But when i Quit the tally and restart, it again showing 01-11-2013 to 31-10-2014 i want to change 01-01-2014 to 31-12-2014 for every time till the end of December, 2014….Can anybody help me ?

    Open the Company
    Come to the Main Screen i.e. Gate of Tally > Press Alt + F3 Comp Info > Alter > Enter

    Check the Date Books beginning from
    It should be below the 21/01/2014

    Dear Ramya,

    Sales and purchase ledger are you core business buy and sales ledger.
    Eg. If you have business of Computers
    and If I Purchase computer for rs. 20,000 by paying cash
    Entry will be
    Dr. Purchase (Core business buying) 20,000
    Cr. Cash 20,000
    Same way sales….

    So if I buy or sale related to computer it is my purchase and Sales

    Please check your current period.
    Come to Main screen means Gate of Tally Screen > Press Alt + F2 > Change your period 01/04/2009 to 31/03/2010 and Accept the Screen

    Note. If you are using educational version Tally will accept only 1st or 2nd or 30th or 31st date of that month only.

    Sir there is current period in my display is 1.4.2014 to 31.3.2015 and current date is 31.3.2015 now I want to entry on the date of 4.4.2014 but I can’t .
    I can only enter 1st and 2nd date of any month
    and from 3rd to 30th or 31st I can’t enter so how can I solve it

    I am using Tally 9, my people are by mistake change the Financial year and Books starting from in Company alterations.
    When we are opened Tally give the message “COMPANY DATE DETAILS CHANGED. NEED TO REWRITE BEFORE PROCEEDING”. Plz send u r suggestion, it is very urgent…
    Example : start date was 1.10.2014 but it was changed by my guy 1.4.2015… after it all things happening
    i was try to repair and also try to change date after repair but company is opening but vouchers are not showing ….if before rewrite i try to change a date again but company cant be open showing ds msg …
